Shipping Suggestions
To ship your gouging machine, it is important to protect it from potential damage during transit. You will need to place a cotton ball or similar material between your gouger bed and the guide of the carriage. Then secure the carriage with shrink-wrap or strong rubber bands. PLEASE DO NOT PUT TAPE DIRECTLY ON THE MACHINE! This will create a sticky mess that will need to be removed using harsh chemicals. Next, either wrap the entire machine in bubble-wrap (recommended), or place in the machine's carrying case. Damage may occur to the carrying case interior if used for multiple shipments. Also, a larger box is needed to ship the machine in the carrying case, which will add to the cost to ship the machine.
