About Us:
Born and raised in northeast Arkansas, Dr. Dan Ross lives in Jonesboro Arkansas
and makes his gouging machines in his shop outside his home.
Dan Ross has been making these gougers since 1980.
He developed his business over time by designing and building a quality product.
He decided to expand his business by offering more products and integrating
online sales in 2005.
Currently, the employees of RWS include Dan's son, Philip, and Philip's wife,
Laura.
Philip plays second oboe in the St. Louis symphony and has since 2005.
In addition to a very time consuming performing job, Philip also makes english
horn bocals.
Laura teaches and performs the oboe in the St. Louis area and is adjunct faculty
at
Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO.
